To promote joined research activity under MARE project, five Vietnamese partner institutions have innitiated a project of e-book compilation, proving the tight cooperation in academic domain as one of MARE purposes. Two e-book meetings have been taken place in Hochiminh City and in Haiphong City to distribute the workload among participating members. In 10-11 June 2023, the third e-book meeting under MARE project was arranged in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa to debate and cross-check the progress of each partner.
Attending the 3rd e-book meeting, two lecturers from Vietnam Maritime University, Mr. Tran Duc Phu and Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Hang have actively presented the work of VMU and contributed ideas to complete other chapters of the e-book. Also, VMU has received good inputs and feedbacks for our assigned work through the cross-check process. More importantly, the 3rd meeting has reached a significant move to the next step of completing the e-book that final tasks have been determined. It implies that the e-book compiling progress will soon be finished, providing a qualified and updated referencing materials for researchers and learners interested in Vietnamese marine and coastal resources. The success of this e-book project is expected to foster more and more joined research and academic activities in the near future among MARE partner institution in Vietnam.
