As long as there is Internet and Wi-Fi, even if learners are on a business trip or at home, they can still ensure that you study on schedule. E-learning facilitates virtual classes where we can place all lecture content such as clip lectures, exercises, etc. Students can view online content, discuss, take tests, comment, etc. on the system. system. Serving the needs of tracking and evaluating student progress, and offering online training. Training on the LMS system helps us connect with each other online between students and teachers. Learners can participate in highly interactive courses like in real life with supporting materials such as videos, visual images, and audio files.

VMU-LMS developed by mobiEdu Company is expected to be tested at the Center for Cooperation and Continuous Training. Currently which is providing bachelor's and college training programs in the form of in-service classes for working people. Applying LMS will help learners be flexible in learning, reduce time and effort to attend physical classes, and increase the efficiency of learner management. Pilot implementation for in-service classes suit the current conditions. Step by step, LMS can be applied to all training and teaching activities at VMU.

The "Marine Coastal and Delta Sustainability for South East Asia (MARE)" project is part of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union (EU) with the participation of 13 member institutions, including Vietnam Maritime University. The main coordinator of this project is the University of Bremen, Germany with the implementation period of 3 years, from 2020 to 2023. As an institution member of MARE project, VMU has inherited the experience in developing online teaching materials and setting online teaching tools through MARE training activities. Besides, VMU was honored to received equipment supported by MARE project. The equipment has been installed in one conference room and at Environment Engineering Institute and Civil Engineering Faculty to conduct online conference and teaching activities during Covid-19 time. We believe that the values of the MARE project will continue to be maintained in the future at VMU. In the near future, the equipment provided by the MARE will be optimally used to serve the work of building teaching materials and developing LMS software of VMU. This is to fulfill the goal of sustainable development in education and training of MARE project that is to allow life-long learning and knowledge spreading.
